Lochmoor Club is a century-old, family-oriented country club located in beautiful Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan.
The Club’s centerpiece is its classic 6900 yard championship level golf course. First opened for play in 1917, Lochmoor Club's tournament caliber, 18 hole golf course complements the natural terrain. Canopied by stately trees, the immaculately manicured greens and fairways provide a true challenge for all levels of play.
They say practice makes perfect and Lochmoor's practice facilities carry the same quality as the rest of the property, featuring a driving range, practice bunkers, short and long range practice areas and a large putting green. When you add to that, our top-flight PGA Professionals -- Pro Kyle Martin and Assistant Pro Ryan Wright -- and you have all you need to get your game in shape!
Our new Lochmoor Athletic Center (LAC) is unique and state of the art. Featuring four TrackMan Simulators, offering game-changing technology that is used by the professionals. No other Michigan private club provides their members with such an expansive amenity. There are over 200 courses around the world to choose from, practice mode for beginners, two putting greens - one for putting and one for work on your short game, and a sand trap for practice. Best of all, this is an innovative way to play golf during our Michigan winters!
Lochmoor Club's premier recreational and social amenities provide members a variety of ways to enjoy the facilities. The Club features an elegant clubhouse, various indoor as well as outdoor casual or upscale dining choices, an indoor tennis complex and four outdoor courts, a fitness center and a top-rated swimming program.
The Club's social agenda is creative, fun and family friendly. Lochmoor offers events that appeal to all members throughout the year. Summer is the Club's busiest time, with golf tournaments, league nights, swim meets for our award-winning Lochmoor Sea Dragons, lessons at the pool and for our junior golfers, and social activities that capitalize on our beautiful Michigan summer weather.
The Club provides activities for every season with celebrations that include events such as a Santa Brunch, Easter Brunch, with a special visit from the Easter Bunny, Mother's Day Brunch, Father's Day, Daddy Daughter Dance, and the Mother & Son Bash. Back to the Club Night is an annual tradition. Sun-drenched pool parties offer fun for all members of the family and there is always something to look forward to on the 4th of July! When you throw in Comedy Nights, Family Fun Nights, our Wine Dinners, Themed Parties, Junior Golf and Tennis programs, Hallowe'en Boo Bash and parties on the Patio, you may run out of energy before you run out of things to do at the Club!
